I've done a few 3D Crystal Puzzles before, and I'd say this is one of the weaker ones. Rather than building it up layer by layer, you attach panels to the side that have all the textures.

It also bothers me a bit that a large portion of the piece count is for the purple scales on the back. No real way around that, I suppose.

In the end, if you want a Godzilla figurine that you build yourself, this one is alright. If you're interested in the 3D puzzle part of it, I'd say go with a different one.
