The machine is very difficult to assemble and the instructions are not easy to follow. We have a very bright 11 year old who loves to put things together. We thought this was perfect for him, but it became frustrating. Two adults worked on the machine and it is still sitting in pieces as they won’t ‘bend’ into place. It look like a fun project, but he gave up on it for now.
Also, it only takes small gum balls (about the size of marbles). Due to food allergies, he cannot eat the gum balls that were included and the replacement gum balls we bought are too large. We were hoping to purchase this as future birthday gifts for friends, but will not be doing so.
